Sleeping in a Cardboard Box

Have you ever wondered what it feels like to sleep in a cardboard box? No...? Well, to be completely honest neither have I. But that didn't stop Le-Clochard from making this cardboard look-a-like bed linen.

It isn't just for fun either. A part of the proceeds goes to a foundation for homeless youngsters - to found housing, finding work and supporting their education.

And in case you are wondering... it isn't actually made out of cardboard boxes. It just looks that way. It is made of soft quality cotton.

I like it. I like it even more that purchasing one helps others.

I've actually seen a man advertising this a couple of years ago in Amsterdam. He was lying in these bedclothes in the middle of a market square and had some sets of these beside him that he would sell to passers by.

He even had a homeless-style paper on which was written that part of the proceedings from the sale of the bedclothes would go to helping the homeless.

He got a lot of attention without doing anything but lying comfortably.
