Some of you might have noticed that Twitter's design team have once again been fiddling with their design. This time redesigning the twitter notification emails.
It used to look like this:
Now it looks like this:
Look how you are now getting much less information and a lot more fancy design.
But, this is not really the worst part. The worst part is that the new notification doesn't work at all on mobile devices. The layout is specifically designed for the desktop screen.
I do not know how Twitter defines quality control, but this is clearly not it. This is instead what happens when you design for design's sake.
